The Old Deanery is a surprise - a contemporary interior inside a very old and interesting building. We have an ideal central location with a car park right next to the beautiful Ripon Cathedral and at the foot of one of the most interesting shopping streets in Ripon, Kirkgate. Our food is well-served, excellent local produce, freshly cooked to order from top class ingredients. We have featured in the Good Food Guide since 2005 and achieved a mention in the Michelin Guide in 2007. There is a huge garden which is ideal for a breath of fresh air in the Summer. [and smokers too! We went smokefree in the restaurant and bar on January 1st] Our menu is updated daily on the website at around 11.30am but if you have any special dietary requirements or you want something cooked slightly differently[vegetarian, gluten free etc;] just ask! Even better, we can also offer you private dining at no extra charge. You can book your friends, family, customers or business colleagues in to one of our 11 excellent bedrooms and be sure we will make their stay memorable.
