Ripon Internet would like to welcome The Ripon Independent Traders Association, or RITA for short, to their spot on the site.

We have been busy today adding to the home page of Ripon Internet, to incorporate a section specifically for RITA.

RITA is a group of Ripon businesses who all have something in common. They all want to help promote Ripon as a place to shop and are willing to do something about it. They are proactively pushing the diverse and special Ripon shops and stores that are available right on our doorstep.

Ripon has a high percentage of independant shops which offer the same levels of choice that other larger towns can offer, but you will benefit from the high levels of customer service that you'll receive.

RITA was a key factor behind getting the free parking set up in Ripon during the redevelopment of the West of the Marketplace. This scheme will hopefully help retain shoppers to the City during the disruption.

RITA will also be organising events that will help attract visitors and locals into Ripon. The next one on the calendar is on the 7th July which will be an Independents Day, showcasing local businesses, a bit like an Expo. There is also a Heritage Weekend planned for September.
