RITA's All Hallows Eve Event

As the nights draw in during October we can all get ready for the celebration of All Hallows Eve on the Market Square which is being organised by the Ripon Independent Traders Association.

The event will be the first one held in Ripon and it start at 4pm and finish at 9pm with George Pickles, the Hornblower, setting the watch. This event aims to bring fun for all of the family and there will be something for young and old to enjoy.

"Dumbledore" will be making an appearance at the start to open proceedings which includes competitions, tombola, face painting, story telling, bouncy castles, lucky dip, drama performances and plenty of food and drink.

The main competitions will be a fancy dress competition and a pumpkin carving competition. We may though have an unusual display of pumpkins this year as the latest news reports are that this years crop hasn't ripened in time so they may be green. You can also enter a team of 4 into the Tri-Wizard tournament.

To enter any of the competitions you can see the All Hallows Eve page on Ripon Internet and download an entry form. All entry forms must be returned to either the Knowledge Magnet, Bondgate Stores or Ripon City Music bu the 26th October.
