Ripon Enterprise Show 2007

On the 2nd October this year, Ripon will host its first ever Enterprise Show at the fantastic new conference and hospitality venue, Ripon Racecourse.

The idea is the brainchild of the Ripon Area Business Association (RABA) and Livius Events, who have recently formed a corporate hospitality and conferencing company located at the racecourse.

The aim is to allow local companies and organisations to showcase their business and products to both a regional and national audience. It’s also a great opportunity for exhibitors and visitors to witness the beautiful surroundings of Ripon Racecourse and see for themselves the facilities and services that Livius Events can offer for future events.

Unlike many other business fairs, The Ripon Enterprise Show, will provide a more relaxed environment in which people can promote their business effectively and discover more about the benefits of doing business in Ripon. Businesses from areas such as Thirsk, Masham, Harrogate and Knaresborough are being invited to attend, so there will be a wide regional representation.

Anthony Blackburn, Chairperson of RABA, comments “This is the exciting first event of its kind in Ripon, which is for Ripon and area businesses, and we aim to make this a regular annual occasion. Businesses can come together and meet in this great environment, the race course. It will be a day that will open your eyes to the potential of enterprise in Ripon.”

Livius Events is run by husband and wife team Andrew Wells and Allison White. Their base at the racecourse means that they have the flexibility and versatility to meet any business’s conferencing and meeting needs. Having the use of a variety if differently sized rooms, plus the space within the grounds, means that Livius Events can cater for sales meetings, training seminars, product launches, exhibitions, interviews, conferences with break out rooms and team building days

Andrew, of Livius Events, says “Being able to host delegates from 2 to 250 means we can hold any size of event, so we are looking forward to being involved with both large, medium and small businesses from the Ripon area and beyond. We are pleased to be hosting the Ripon Enterprise Show in October and meeting more local companies and business people - this region really has so much to offer and so much going on.”

In conjunction with local prestigious caterers to offer the highest standards of food and service, Livius Events will be able to provide that all important bacon butty for breakfast meetings, impressive finger buffets for lunch to a full evening dinner menu.

Andrew and Allison can host more intimate and private functions in a number of venues at the racecourse. The famous Wakeman Bar provides an ideal party room for wedding receptions, balls, club dinners, family special occasion parties, and company Christmas dinners. They have a Christmas Party Night organised for the 15th December, so book your company’s table soon. For smaller parties, the superb Champagne Bar and Hornblower Rooms are great places for a drinks evening or a sit down party dinner.
