Charity Wine Tasting Event for Marie Curie Cancer Care

Charity 'Call My Bluff' Tickets ~ £12.50 Doors ~ 7.00pm

Great Northern Wine are proud to be able to support our friends at the newly set up, local Marie Curie Cancer Care Support group who are based in Ripon. Mark and ‘fellow panellists’ will host this Call My Bluff Wine Tasting and an evening of pure fun discovering the not so serious side to wine!

This is a fantastic opportunity to help raise money to enable the charity to provide more nursing for terminally ill people in their own homes. They will be available on the evening so if you would like more information about their activities or about joining the group feel free to ask.

This is a ticket only event – please call us on 01765 606 767 or pop into the shop to buy or reserve your tickets as we can not guarantee tickets will be available on the night of the tasting.

'Meet Your Maker' Wine Tasting @ Great Northern Wine

'Meet Your Maker' Wine Tasting @ Great Northern Wine

Join us for a tasting of 8 award winning, bio dynamic wines and a talk from the producer James Millton on his philosophy behind his growing methods.

The Millton Vineyard specialises in making fine wine from estate grown grapes sourced from single vineyards. For more than a quarter of century these grapes have been grown in the traditional manner using biodynamic techniques. This involves growing the grapes without the use of herbicide, insecticide, systemic fungicides or soluble fertilisers. It also incorporates the use of special herbal preparations and teas, as well as a deep understanding of the complex cosmic rhythms which affect these daily activities.

Start ~ 7.30pm Entrance ~ £10.00

Andrea Glass - Live Acoustic Session @ Great Northern Wine

Andrea Glass

Andrea was born and raised in Bolton, England – a rainy mill town in the north west. She plays a red J200, likes cowboy boots, Cath Kidston, flocked wallpaper, tea, scented candles, fairy lights, notebooks, everything about autumn, all things coastal, trains, long journeys and maps.
