New Rugby Buddies Club to Start

If you have a child that is between the ages of 3 and 6 and they have an enthusiasm for sport then bring them along to a new club starting in Ripon called Rugby Buddies.

Rugby Buddies is being run by Dan Watson who is an experienced coach at the Ripon Rugby Club and has been playing rugby for many years. The aim of the club is to be a fun environment for younger kids to give them a taster of rugby and to learn the early skills required to progress into mini junior rugby teams.

Rugby Buddies will be held from Saturday 2nd March at Bishop Monkton Village Hall and all are welcome. The FREE taster session will be held with the 3-4’s at 10am – 10.45am, then the 5-6’s from 11 – 11.45am. The emphasis will be on fun and games and parents are encouraged to get involved if they want to, so bring your training shoes too! Kids can wear any comfortable clothes or sportswear and some trainers.
