Jez Lowe's Cauld Feet Again Pet
“CAULD FEET AGAIN, PET!” – Another Christmas in the North with Jez Lowe. For the past five years, Durham-based songwriter Jez Lowe has been selling out venues across the country with an annual Christmas show. With his multi-talented band The Bad Pennies, (featuring fiddle, Northumbrian pipes, keyboards, guitar, bass and voices) plus special guest, folk balladeer and actor Benny Graham, Jez has put together a unique take on Christmas in the North, part folk concert, part music-hall revue, with songs, humour and music done the way only north-easterners know how, as sell-out crowds and return performances from Surrey to Northumberland can testify.. ‘Jez Lowe is one of our finest songwriters.’ BBC Radio 2

Festive Family Fun @ Lightwater Valley

Light up a Life
The Light up a Life services are special community events offering local people a meaningful way to remember and celebrate the lives of people who are no longer with us. By dedicating a light on one of our Light up a Life Christmas trees you can also help Saint Michael’s to continue improving the lives of local people with terminal illness. The events are open to all. Venue: Ripon Cathedral Time:3pm Saint Michael’s makes no charge for your dedication, but if you can make a donation towards our vital work supporting local people with terminal illness and bereavement we would be extremely grateful. All donations will help Saint Michael’s ensure more local people get the care they need to live their last years, months and days with choice, respect and dignity.

Sparkle for Saint Michael's
Banish the bah-humbugs and help raise funds for your local hospice this November and December.
Sparkle for Saint Michael's is the perfect opportunity to get into the seasonal spirit with a festive fundraiser at work, home or school. It's fun, it's simple, and you will be helping to make this Christmas extra special for families living with terminal illness and bereavement in your community.
Give Mary Berry's mince pies a run for their money with a brrr-illiant bake sale. From Christmas cookies to spiced puds and pastries, it's easy as pie to raise funds in the office, classroom or at home with friends and family.
Wrap up warm and don your jazziest jingle bell jumper or statement Santa suit for Winter Onesie Wednesday, or get ready for the party season with a glittertastic office manicure session.
Whether you're a traditionalist who likes a tried and tested tombola, or a money-raising maverick setting your sights on a sprout scoffing contest, Sparkle for Saint Michael's this November and December and have bags of fun whilst making a big difference here in the Harrogate district.

Santa Weekends @ Lightwater Valley
SANTA EXPERIENCE 29th & 30th November 13th, 14th 20th & 21st December It’s not Christmas without a visit to Santa, so bring your little ones to Lightwater Valley’s Santa Experience for a truly magical time. Join Santa and his elf for fireside stories in his grotto. There’ll be refreshments for adults and a lovely gift for each child and an opportunity for photographs. All your favourite fairground rides will be open including Skyrider, Carousel and Eagles Creek Farm, as well as the Angry Birds Activity Park.
