Supporting Amanda Saul of Zimbabwe

There will be a fundraising walk for Amanda Saul of Zimbabwe from the Obelisk in Ripon, North Yorkshire to the Cenotaph in Harrogate, some 14 miles one way, on the 20th May 2006 starting at 10am. This walk will be undertaken by Albert Weidemann in order to raise money for Amanda. Anyone else who would like to join in is more than welcome. As I am suffering from Chronic Pain myself I may ask people to help me finish the walk.

Amanda Saul, was undergoing cancer treatment in Harare, Zimbabwe. After undergoing a colostomy, she started chemo and radiation treatment at St Anne's Hospital, Harare. The first course of chemo has been done, however, she was only able to get one dose (28 to go) of radiation before the machine broke down.

Nothing in life is more important than family and friends. Please support the walk for Amanda's sake not mine. Sadly she has just returned to Zimbabwe today 11.05.06 her mother has passed away of cancer.

Our sympathy and condolences go to all family and friends for their loss.

This "can't be put off" till another time. For more information please see the Amanda Saul Website, www.amandasaul.com
