‘Kids on Stage’ is a new vibrant Music Theatre School based in Ripon where children learn how to project their voices whilst singing their favourite musical songs. Many people never learn to project their voices properly, let alone when they have to move at the same time. There will be a dance teacher available to work on the choreography while music and drama is in the capable hands of opera singer Marika van der Meer.
Teaching will be every Saturday during term time, starting on the 9th of September 2006 from 4.30h till 6.30h at the Dalton Hall, Cathedral Choir School, Whitcliff Lane, Ripon. Everybody is welcome from 6 to 16 years.
