Hornseys - ‘the gallery’, located in Ripon, Yorkshire, is a high quality Contemporary Art and Craft dealership. ‘The gallery’ consistently exhibits a wide range of first rate; cutting edge Yorkshire artists alongside master craftsmen who make superbly designed furniture, jewellery, sculpture and ceramics.

Contemporary Art & Makers
Our gallery artists include Ken Jones, Lesley Coates Jones, Angela Keeble, Nancy Murgatroyd, Winifred Hodge, Sarah J Venus, Peter Wray RE, Tim Fowler, Heather Foster, Ed Kluz, Helen Dryden, Richard Walker, Jo Wilson, Jo Dixon, David Zaccardelli and John Simpson.

The craftsmen we exhibit are Richard Burnley, Paul Steel, Lynne Glazzard, C J Philipson, Sheena Maxwell, Eric Moss, Stephen Plumstead, Vicki Rylands, and Chiu-i Wu.

Fine Art Catalogue

Our Fine Art portfolio ranges from the 17th to the 21st Centuries. Artworks include original works, lithographs, chromolithographs, engravings, etchings, pochoirs, photography, textiles, jewellery, ceramics and sculptures. On a range of subjects including Sporting art, Architectural and Decorative art, Botanical prints, and Topographical and Travel related works.

Art Events and Exhibitions
We hold regular Contemporary exhibitions as well as works by Picasso, Braque, Chagall, Dali, Matisse, W Nicholson, Miró, Hockney, Man Ray, Leighton, Gormley, Jake and Dinos Chapman amongst others also available to view are works from the 17th & 18th Century including Piranesi, Falda and Venturini.

Services
We offer a bespoke framing service as well as Corporate and private commissions where we can find the right art piece for any environment.
We also work with a number of Interior designers and Home Stylers as well as offering a wedding list service. We pride ourselves on quality of choice and diversity through a personal service.

Hornseys’ continue within the book trade; rare and second-hand books are offered for purchase through ‘the gallery’ by appointment or when the subject matter complements the exhibitions.
