The cottages are an ideal location for those who like tranquillity and nature; due to the location if you like a little astronomy then the opportunity to view the stars is one you should not miss. If you require a little more excitement the small town of Masham is but a stone’s throw away catering for most of your needs, boasting two Breweries and a number of hostelries.

Close to the cottages are rough tracks and footpaths that lead through woodland and heather moors. The wonderful thing about Moorcote Farm Cottages, which is accessed by from a half mile of single track, is that there is no sight or sound of passing or distant traffic. Wildlife are everywhere, with curlew, owls, deer, French partridge, black grouse, duck and pheasant to name but a few. And if you require free range eggs for your breakfast then our resident hens, we are sure, will be happy to oblige.

Hayloft Cottage is a barn conversion and has upside down accommodation to make the best of the far reaching views across the Dale. It sleeps 5 people in 2 ground floor bedrooms, one double, and a family room with a double and single. This spacious cottage is perfect for a family or a group of friends with a large lounge comfortably furnished with leather sofas and a 32 inch TV. The views across the Dale are made possible through a large picture window, meaning even if the weather is unkind you can settle down with a good book and a hot drink and make use of the window seat and still enjoy the beauty of the Dales.

The Granary Cottage sleeps 4 in two bedrooms, one family, one single . The Granary consists of two bedrooms and a bathroom on the ground floor and an open plan kitchen and lounge area on the first floor.

Both cottages come with bed linen and towels. There is parking for up to 5 cars.

Pets are welcome at our discretion.
