To compliment the exceptional selections of wines in our shop we've added a great wine bar and lounge. These comfortable facilities enhance the wine buying experience and are available to hire for functions and corporate events.

Our lounge and bar are open throughout the day Tuesday to Saturday, serving a selection of wines, beers and coffee. The comfy sofas and sturdy tables and chairs make this the perfect place to meet up with friends or enjoy a little 'me' time with a good book. We're proud supporters of the Ripon International Festival and The Great North Art Show as well as hosting other exhibitions throughout the year, so there's often something interesting to look at too.

Evenings see the place transformed into a social hub enjoyed by all ages with one thing in common; an appreciation of something a little different. The focus is definitely on the wine and tasting is believing. In the bar you can choose from our selection of house wines by the glass and bottle or make your selection from over 200 bottles in the shop paying the retail price plus a modest corkage charge.

Various live events are held each month, so there's always an opportunity to enjoy a showcase of the best musicians, comedy and new talent from around the region and beyond. We have a list of all our events on our website.
