Local Girl , Nicki Gears, Signs for Super League team Durham Ladies, the Wildcats.

After finishing her degree in the USA, Nicki returns to the UK and signs for Durham Ladies Football team.

Those that know former Ripon Grammer Shool girl Nicki, will not be surprised by her continuing success in Ladies Soccer after steady progression with Leeds Ladies, Blackburn Rovers Ladies, the Univerisity of West Alabama Tigers and Chatanooga Ladies inaugural team, that she now returns to the UK, with her degree and the opportunity for even more success in the Super League.

Coupled with this wonderful chance is the added bonus of her winning a scholarship at Durham University on a Masters Degree in Physical Education.

Family and friends are immensely proud of her.
