Event Co-ordinator Vacancy, Highfield House

Schools ICT at Highfield House in Ripon is looking for a full time Event Co-ordinator. Closing date for this vacancy is 21st February 2016.

Event Co-ordinator (Business Support Administrator) Level 2 (Band 4), 37 hours per week (Monday-Friday) Salary £14,075 - £15,941 per annum Fixed Term Contract until 31st March 2017.

Within North Yorkshire County Council, this role is internally known as Business Support Administrator. Business Support is a critical support function to the council's frontline services that provide public services to residents including the most vulnerable members of society.

We are looking for a highly motivated person with excellent communication and customer care skills. Your role will involve publicising, organising and administering Schools ICT training courses and co-ordinate events at Highfield House, which is located close to Ripon centre with ample on-site parking.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the front of house, course administration using Word, Excel and in-house systems, dealing with customers and using your initiative to solve day-to-day issues. You will need to set up training rooms which includes moving furniture and setting up ICT equipment, housekeeping and managing refreshments for all delegates throughout the day.
