Jennyruth Workshops Christmas Fayre Open Afternoon
Jennyruth Workshops, is holding a CHRISTMAS FAYRE OPEN AFTERNOON at Unit 5, Red House Farm, Bridge Hewick, Ripon, HG4 5AY on Tuesday 13th December from 1.30pm to 4pm. We will have a large range of Christmas items and handmade gifts for sale. There will be Carols played by the ‘Wetherby Accordions’ and mince pies and hot drinks to enjoy as well as presentations by our workers and displays of work. The Ripon Walled Garden will be selling some of their products, such as wreaths, seasonal plants as well as planted containers & baskets. Choose2Reuse Fair
Free and unique Christmas fair with over 50 stall featuring handmade gifts, clothing, furniture and much, much more, all created from second hand, discarded or reused materials. There will also be free workshops and fashion shows, a wonderful festive atmosphere and Green Santa for the kids.
The Dunwells @ Great Northern Wine
Great Northern Wine is rounding off an amazing year of live music with a run of five consecutive intimate gigs with The Dunwells; a Leeds based band whose song writing talent and beautiful harmonies has everyone talking.
Tickets sold so quickly for their first gig on Sunday 18th December that Monday 19th and Tuesday 20th were added soon after but they didn’t last long either. The final two dates Wednesday 21st and Thursday 22nd have been added of which there are only approx 30 tickets left for each night.
2012 already has lots in store for the band, they have recently been selected as HMV’S Next Big Thing 2012 and will be embarking on a US tour to celebrate their debut album which is due to be released in February. The gigs at Great Northern Wine will be the last chance this year to see the band in action, however a UK tour is being planned for next year and they’ve promised to return to their favorite venue.
